Sample Injection Barrel Our new Aspire™ 40mm Sample Injection Barrel, when used in conjunction with Aspire™ FlashAdapt™, expands upon the convenience and performance of your Flash Chromatography. The Aspire Sample Injection Module is designed to work with oils and other samples that are not easily soluble. This module fits easily between the solvent reservoir and the Flash column to provide chemists witha simple way to purify samples that can not be easily dissolved in optimum mobile phase. Large Capacity Injection Barrel The large capacity Aspire™ Sample Injection Barrel is 40mm in diameter and is available in 40, 90 and 120 gram capacities. A unique swivel luer fitting is utilized for a fast, one-handed, leak-free connection. A integrated frit is located within the luer fitting and a 40mm top frit is included for use after packing the column. Fast, Convenient Operation For liquids, including viscous oils, pour the sample into the Aspire Sample Injection Barrel. House air pressure will push the sample in the mixture onto the flash column. The sample will be filtered by the integral frit located within the luer swivel fitting of the barrel before introduction on to the column. For poorly soluble samples, mixtures can be dissolved in a strong solvent and mixed with silica. After evaporating the strong solvent, the sample coated silica is then packed into the Aspire™ Injection Barrel. The eluent then runs through the barrel desorbing the sample components and moving them onto the top of the prepacked Flash column. |
